This does not provide a better SEO rating on the search engines, but increases usability. It makes sense to use the reach of these websites to gain valuable and relevant backlinks. Check for the about sections, the settings to provide the main blogs or websites that you own. Regularly post updates from your blogs and also interact with users.

iv. Deviantart, Youtube – Simple and easy to use. Not only should you upload your creations, but also include links to your main blog or website.

v. Don’t spam – Ok, this is not exactly a positive point, but is necessary. Respect the search engines. If you spam a regular user will be upset, and search engines are evolving to do the same. So don’t post too many spammy comments on other blogs – it actually does not help. To prevent others from doing the same to you use noindex and nofollow for your comments section.
